My CVS Trip: How I saved 94%

This morning I hit up my local CVS to take part in the 3 day sale. I didn't really make out as well as I should have...many of the 3 day sale items were already sold out so I just got what I could and worked around it. I still did pretty good though. Here is what I got in 6 transactions:

Transaction 1:
(1) CVS Tampons (10 ct) $1.89 + get $1.89 in ECB
-$1.00 ECB from previous CVS trip
=$0.95 OOP (including tax)

Transaction 2:
(1) 4 oz. Colgate Advanced toothpaste $2.88 + get $2.00 in ECB
-$1.00 Manufactures Coupon
-$1.89 ECB from Transaction 1
=$0.07 OOP paid tax ONLY

Transaction 3
(2) CVS Compostion Books (100 sheets) $0.99 x2= $1.98 + get 99 cents in ECB for each!
-$2.oo ECB from transaction 2
=$0.12 OOP paid tax ONLY

Transaction 4
(3) Kashi food products 3/$10.00 + get $5.00 in ECB
-$1.50 (x3) manufactures coupons
(1) CVS cough drops (10ct) $0.50
-$1.98 ECB from Transaction 3
-$4.00 ECB from a previous CVS trip
=$0.08 OOP paid Tax ONLY

Transaction 5
(1) Twix Candy Bar $0.67 (used FREE coupon)
(1) Snack Pack Snickers bars $1.00
(1) Hawaiin Punch Singles 8 ct $0.49
(2) Aussie Hair Care Products (Shampoo + Conditioner $2.99 each + get $1.00 ECB
-$2.00 Manufacturers coupon
-$5.00 ECB from transaction 4
=$0.35 OOP (inlcuding tax)

Transaction 6
(1) 12pk Lipton Iced Tea 16.9oz bottles $5.99 + Get $1.00 ECB
-$1.00 ECB from Transaction 5
-$5.00 ECB from previous CVS trip
=$0.42 OOP (including tax)

In total I spent only $1.99 (including tax)

All in all, I would have spent about $31.40 all together If I used sales only (no ECB or coupons).
So I saved $29.41 OR about 94%

And, I still have $1.00 ECB to save for next week!
