Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters Review & Giveaway!

A few weeks ago, MyBlogSpark sent me a Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters "Snack Pack" prize pack that included all four (4) varieties of the Granola Nut Clusters along with a sling backpack, stainless steel water bottle, flashlight and binoculars! Today I made my stops at CVS, Walgreens, and Stop & Shop, here is how I did!

CVS

Transaction 1

• 4 Sauve Hair Products (Shampoo & Conditioner + (2) 2 in 1): $8.00

I used 2 $1.00 Coupons and then received $2.00 in ECB, so final cost was $6.00 OOP

Transaction 2

• (1) Hershey Kisses: 2/$5.00
• (1) Colgate Total Toothpaste: $2.99 + $2.00 ECB
• (2) Jack Links Chicken Nuggets: $5.99 + bogo

I used 3 coupons ($1.oo off hershey kisses, $1.00 off Colgate, FREE jack links), I also used the $2.00 ECB from Transaction 1. OOP for this transaction is $2.29!

Transaction 3

• 4 Lean Cuisines: 2/$5.00

I used 1 coupon for $2.00 off 3 lean cuisines and I used the $2.00 ECB from Transaction 2. My OOP for this transaction was $6.01.

All in all I spent about $14.3o OOP and saved about $33.49 between sales, coupons, and ECB at CVS!

Walgreens

Transaction 1

• 2 Irish Spring 8-pack Soap Bars: 2/$8.00 +$4.00 RR
• 3 Kleenex tissues: $0.89 each

I used a coupon for $0.50 off 3 kleenex and I used a Walgreens coupon for $3.00 off $10.o0. My OOP for this transaction was $7.71.

I used another Walgreens Coupon for $3.00 off $10.00 and I used the $4.00 RR from transaction one. My OOP this time was about $6.00.

My total Walgreens Total was about $14.00 OOP and I saved about $12.00 or so

My total this week at Stop & Shop Before Savings was $68.64

My total S&S card savings was $14.94

My total Coupon Savings was $9.84

My gift card total was $10.00 (from MyBlogSpark & General Mills)

My total savings was about $34.78 or 50%!

Please Excuse My Disappearance

What a slacker I am! I know, I know! I said I would be posting again...and then I disappeared! I unfortunately had some car trouble this past week and ended up spending all of my extra energy on focusing on that! Also, I have been working on trying to line up a few extra "side" jobs, so please bear with me. I may break a promise or two here depending on my schedule. Well anyways, let's get back to the blogging.....

CVS

I went to CVS this afternoon after work and picked up a 4 pack of Sharpie Highlighters. I used a $1 off coupon (online coupon-I apologize, I do not recall where I found it!) and the product was on sale for $0.99. So I paid tax only out of pocket for a grand total of $0.07 or 100% savings!

That way my big purchase for the day. Nothing else really caught my eye in this weeks flyer, but who knows, I may stop back in. I do still have a $0.99 ECB that I have yet to use!

Stop & Shop

We actually skipped the food shopping this past week. We had plenty at home to use up and our work schedules have been a bit nutty lately so we haven't been cooking as much. We do plan on doing a Stop & Shop grocery shop later this week, I'm thinking we will last till at least Thursday. I will let you know how I do when I do! Ashley's Allowance Makeover Madness

Wild Wednesday: Weekly Stop & Shop Grocery Shop

This afternoon when I got out of work we went grocery shopping. I feel like we didn't do as well as we could have. Although, I only had 5 coupons to use (all printable coupons actually). My coupons were:

• (2) $0.50 off 1 Nature Valley Dark Chocolate & Nut granola bars
• (2) $0.40 off 1 box Nature Valley Any Variety granola bars
• $1.00 off 1 bag New England Coffee

So, my coupons only saved me $2.80, but thats better than nothing I suppose. Stop & Shop had a promo for the Nature Valley bars (buy 4, save $4.00). That is why I chose to stock up on those, we won't have to buy more of them for a while. Some of the other items we purchased were not typical weekly items such as garbage bags and sugar. Therefore, these kinds of items brought our food bill up a little this week.

Total Before Savings: $108.40

Our Total Savings: $30.37

Total After Savings: $78.03
